Adam Jasper Smith
Adam Jasper completed his PhD in Aesthetic Theory at the Power Institute (Department of Art History and Film, University of Sydney) in 2010. From 2011-2014 he was a lecturer in the Design, Architecture and Building department at the University of Technology Sydney. He has given courses at the National Art School, Darlinghurst and at the Australian National University.
Since 2015, Jasper has been a post-doctoral researcher with Module H: Cities on the Move, working on a project that explores the specific contemporary interaction between photography and axonometric projection as a means of visualising the contemporary city. Jasper is a regular contributor to Artforum and Cabinet Magazine. He is an editor of the Architectural Theory Review, and a guest editor of the Columbia University journal Future Anterior.
